    안녕하세요!

I really enjoy at yours videos. They are fun and educational. In my country if you want to get good job, you should hide your tattoo too (except the IT specialist). 🙂

A have a question: I don’t have any tattoos but I have a piercing on my belly. It isn’t visible (except on the beach). What do Koreans think about people with piercing?

    Thank you 🙂

  2. Keith says:

Hi! Personally, I think people with piercings dont think anything. Because they never see them
But maybe older Koreans or bosses might think something if they see it in the office or classroom or something 😀

what about henna tattoos??, I’ve seen korean pop stars (male pop stars) with tattoos that were there temporarily and then it was gone, aren’t those henna?? in Egypt we have henna, some brides do henna on the back of their hands and on their feet on the night before their wedding day, but it’s that common anymore.

I always laugh when I watch something like Running Man when they try to cover up tattoos. So many idols have them now.

I am Fijian/ Hawaiian and in my culture tattoos are highly respected. Tattoos symbolizes power and authority in Polynesian culture. Unfortunately I live in South Korea too. Recently there was a movie that came out of Hawaii named Moana and in that movie you will see men have tattoos. In south Pacific islands like Fiji, Tonga, Samoa and NZ are all about tattoos.
