  1. For me, May through September would be the best times. :) I live in Florida where it’s warm all the time. To me the 50-60°F weather is really cold! >.< Our hottest times in the summer months hit in the 100's°F, so the 70's°F is the nicest temperature for me. :)

  2. Mara says:

I was thinking of going in two years (so I can save enough money) I was hoping to go during my birthday but its in August. I think September or October will be better. Autumn is my favorite time of year. I’ll just be sure to check the calendar.

  3. Jhenmy says:

    I`ll go on october!!! =)

  4. Joe Snake says:

The best time to visit would be March through August when the temperature is just nice, not too cold and not too hot. Try to avoid Sep ~ Nov because of the typhoon season. Dec ~ Feb is too cold really.

  5. Shareen says:

Oh no! I have just bought my flight ticket.. Flying there during November.

  6. Roy Pacarat says:

I’ll go on last week of October to see the foliage changing its color.

  7. che tan says:

How many clothes does one wear in Korea during month of October? I saw your video wearing 11 clothe. So in October you wear 5 to 6? :)

  8. TJCP says:

thanks for the info :) i am going to Seoul this coming November (end of november).

  9. Lindy says:

which season is the best time to travel to Korea ? If travel to Korea in Jun or Jul is it in hot weather ? i need a refreshing weather not so cold.

Season for Spring, Summer, Autumn & Winter, which is better season to visit to Korea.

  10. Jacquie says:

My boyfriend and I went in February and it was SO COLD. Apparently one of the coldest winters for a long time. One day was -19!! And if we ever stayed out really late, it was freezing too. Our apartment was located at the bottom of a huge hill and we kept slipping on the snow and ice 😛

REGARDLESS, still love love loved Korea and will be going back in October! <3 I read Seoulisitc on my lunchbreak to get excited and motivated to save and look forward to coming back!

    • Poshberries says:

Hi Jacquie, pls advise if there are many shopping malls, shops (eateries) or street hawkers open after dark or late night during Winter season? Because my spouse & I want to visit Korea (Seoul) for our first time so i would like to check more from you guys since you’ve some experiences. I am from Singapore too. Thanks!!

  11. Abigail says:

I’m going to Seoul in March this year(yay!), however, I am unfamiliar with low temperature as I live in Singapore and its pretty much 29 degrees celsius all year round…. Exactly how cold is 5.7°C and how should I be dressing?

    • Hello,
You will need a good fleece (Polartec 200?) and a wind stopper! A pair of water resistant shoes would be nice! I live here now and apparently we are experiencing March temperature these days and this is what I wear everyday! A beanie and a pair of light gloves would also be usefull but are easy to find on the streets!

      • Jo says:

Hi, may i know if aug is good to travel. will the weather be too humid or too rainy in this particular month. need your advise. Thank you!

    • Afiza says:

What a coincidence! I’m from Singapore too, and planning to travel in March… wanted to go for SHINee’s concert in Seoul, but no news yet from the shopping service whether I got the ticket ㅠㅠ

Layering of your clothes should help…

    • Soephy says:

I will be in Seoul too from 17Mar – not my first time in Seoul though. I’ve always liked the cooler weather as it’s always sunny in Singapore. Layering of clothes plus leather gloves and boots would definitely help. And if you’re short of warm clothes, there’s definitely aplenty in Seoul — head down to the shopping streets like Myeongdong, you’ll definitely be spoilt for choice.

  12. Janet says:

I am planning to go to Korea during end of May. Any advice on how should I be dressing? Is bringing a jacket enough with long sleeve shirt and jeans?

  13. Aira says:

I am planning to go on the last of April or the mid-May. When do you think is the best time and what clothes should I bring? :) Also, where is the best place to stay? :) Hehe :)

  14. maria says:

hi my family is planning to go end of november this year. we really want to experience snow. do u think this is a good time to catch snow?

  15. Alysha says:

Can I check if I will need a Winter jacket if I am travelling to Seoul in another 2 weeks time?

  16. Dani says:

What should I wear in Korea when I go in mid-May to the last week of May? :)

  17. Kelly says:

I’m going to be in Seoul from the last week in June to the first week in July. Since it’s the beginning of the monsoon season, does it really rain that much? I was looking forward to the nightlife, do a lot people stay indoors during this time?

    • lulu says:

same here, will be going there for the last week of June to last week in July (a month) for a course. and i kept thinking about the same questions !!

    • Jovi says:

Been to Seoul in June last year.
      My advice – bring umbrella.
It will rain occasionally. I remembered out of all 8 days I am there, there are one or two days whereby it rained almost the entire day. So try to bring an umbrella otherwise you can buy one there.
Umm, there is def more people out there then compared to the cold seasons from my observations.

  18. dia says:

Am teaveling to Seoul in May, the wather seems to be pretty cool, would i require a jacket…hmmmmm…

  19. amirayunho says:

  21. ma veronica s. bingol says:

i was wondering should i bring a jacket last week of sept

  22. wus says:

Going there a week before the end of june, is it really gonna be that hot? I’m from malaysia and i saw the weather forecast the temperature is almost the same as here? If so its really hot :O What do u reckon for us to wear anyway? :)

  23. Poshberries says:

Hi I am thinking of going to Korea for my first time and to Seoul this time. But I am unsure should I go in October or November? Still contemplating on this matter.

My spouse & I are food hunters, late night supper diners, window shoppers and we do love cooler temperatures as we are Singaporeans and our usual temperatures are hot between 29 to 32 Deg C (daytime) all year round. So I really want to know if there will be lot of street hawkers or tourist hotspots during November (cold season) in Seoul, even in daytime or night time. I heard from some friends saying they usually closed early since not much customers on streets during this season.

I heard my sister told me there are nothing much after dark in November and she strongly advised me to visit Seoul in October instead of we like to eat, shop in the evening or late night and we can even go to some places to see Maple Trees during their leaves falling duration.

Please can someone tell me visiting Seoul for my first time is definitely good at October or November? I need some good advices and replies ASAP as I am booking my air tickets soon. Thank you so much in advance!!

  24. Marie says:
