Yeongdong Grape Festival – Seoulistic

Yeongdong Grape Festival

Aug 24 – Aug 27

If you’re in Seoul, it’s not an easy trip to the small town of Yeondong. But it might just be a perfect weekend getaway if you have some kids. Yongdong has the nation’s largest grape orchards, and it makes up about 12.8% of national grape production. The grape festival is a fun opportunity for families to pick grapes, eat grapes, and buy grapes. There’s also some more fun activities like grape stomping, grape binsu (shaved ice dessert) making and a wine foot bath. If you need some time away from the hustle and bustle in the middle of nature, the Yeongdong Grape Festival is a great summer getaway.
