Yeongdeok Snow Crab Festival – Seoulistic

Yeongdeok Snow Crab Festival

March 22, 2018 – March 25, 2018

Once served to the king, snow crabs have become accessible enough for the common man to feast on. And as the final chapter of winter comes to a close, the Yeongdeok Snow Crab Festival draws hordes of crab lovers that don’t want to miss out on this seasonal delicacy. Come here to sample various crab dishes, participate in a snow crab cooking competition, ride a snow crab boat. Of course, the number 1 thing to do is to get your crab and take them out to a restaurant close-by that will steam them up and expertly cut up the shells for you so you fumble with your rookie hands. Then they’ll make some fried rice with whatever crab meat you have left over and serve it in the shell of the crab. Come get your fill before the Yeongdeok Snow Crab Festival is over!
