First of all, how awesome of a name is Thaddeus? Good thing he’s also an awesome person! He had no problem letting us use some of his photography for this post. He lives in rural Korea, and he has the eye to show us how beautiful life outside the city can be. Thanks Thaddeus! Remember to stop by his flickr for more pictures of Korea.

Thanks for collecting these great photos. I like all of them but since Indy Randhawa really stands out with a melancholic and dramatic feel to the pictures that reflects a big side of Korea as well I’d say he’s the best. But – why aren’t there any female photographers?
Great Photos !! Where do you recommend as the closest place to Daejeon to travel to for a weekend for some of these sights?
My favorite is the #30 bridge but can anyone tell me where that is???
I’m not sure, but I really love watching photos of old korean temples
Nice pictures! amazing korea 😀
Your comment…all of them are great like iran i suggest you search about iran about its natures and temples and about every thing its like korea sooo nice
naturally appreciate your web-site nevertheless you must take phone transliteration in a good number of of the articles. Many of them are rife with punctuation complications i think it is quite irritating to see the simple truth nonetheless I’m going to definitely come back again.
amazing shots! 😀
Where is that Golden Temple located??
Romain John – that shot with of Gyeongbokgung is just beautiful. The composition, the lighting, that reflection… I want to learn from him! 😀
Ryan Cabal – has some serious eye for photography. Give him a couple of more years and he’s going to be a hell of a photogrpaher! Hapjeong shot is two thumbs-up!
All pictures are superb. I have been to Korea many times. Love people, food, sightseeing and everything about Korea. Seoul is the best city. Want to go there again and again 🙂
my heart fluttered seeing all these pictures, they are all so beautiful, Korea is beautiful, and is going to be my future home
Definitely the photo of Gyeongbokgung…..Serenity,tranquility and peace all in one place. Almost surreal…

Romain – Samcheonsa. his collection of photos are really good and captivating in each of them…
I was with the army in my time in Korea between 1952 and 1954.Just out of curiosity I googled Seoul Korea and I was overwhelmed at the new Korea.I am 84 and unable to travel to Korea but I am so proud to have been one of the persons who fought for the freedom of South Korea. These pictures of a thriving country where once all you could see were rice paddies and destruction. The Korean people deserve peace and prosperity and It makes me happy to see the progress.
Dear Fred, thank you for your kind words and your service. Without people like you, we wouldn’t have had a chance to see such peach, prosperity and progress!
