POOPING IN KOREA (Toilet Surprise!)

We all need to use the bathroom. But if you’re coming to Korea, you should be prepared! There’s a few situations where you might end up pooping on the floor or getting poo water on you if you’re not ready. Watch this video to make sure you won’t have any bathroom trouble in Korea!

Korea became modern really fast, faster than some of the buildings. And because of that, many buildings have old school toilets that require a bit of squatting. Many people say its more hygienic because you don’t actually touch anything. But if you’re not used to it, you might miss!

There are also many modern toilets in Korea too. There are bidets that spray out water to help get a better clean. Some also dry your bottom, too. Some also play music so you can hide embarrassing sounds. Ultra advanced toilet technology is awesome!

Regardless if the toilet is new or old, if you have a garbage can next to you, that’s usually a sign that you’re supposed to dispose of used toilet paper in there. Many bathrooms have pipes that are too small, and if you flush TP down, they get clogged. Also, you might be expected to have your own toilet paper as well. Some bathrooms in Korea have it, but not all of them. Bring some so you don’t end up sockless 😛

Here’s some Unique Situations You’ll Have with Toilets in Korea!

The ladies bathroom at Deoksugung had one big TP dispenser outside the stalls. Fortunately for me, no one was entering the bathroom as I cringed and carefully walked to the dispenser with unbuttoned pants.

i actually prefer the old school squat ones… i got used to them when i went travelling in india. :3 they don’t have toilet paper either. but a tap with a small bucket to wash. (you might want detol or something to sanitise your hands after).

YEAH… THAT’S TRUE!!!! haha, this video is so funny you know. I’ve experienced those things since I’m studying in Korea. First, old toilet I tried at Seoul Station, OMG, I was in hurry that time, I have to pursue my KTX. Then, I was shocked because there were no tissues and the hole in the floor was too small. OTTTEOKKEEE?????!!!!! But finally i used my way (secret, haha) to handled it.

Second time was last week at my internship office building at Incheon. I have Ultra advanced toilet technology. But at the first it was confusing me. There were so many buttons. Button to make your haunch warm, button for clean your ass with auto water, button to play music, and even button for settled the size of your seat. O, DAEBAK!!! I prefer number 2. My way!!!

    NICE VIDEO!!! THUMBS UP!!!!!
