The lovable Charlie Brown not only has a cafe in Seoul, he has an entire chain all throughout Korea (click here for official website)! And although Hello Kitty is a one-kitty wrecking crew, at Charlie Brown Cafe, you’ll get the entire Peanuts entourage. With Charlie Brown, Snoopy, Lucy and the rest of his pals on cakes and cookies, you might even hesitate to take a bite out of these uber cute characters. No wait… Actually… Take a bite out of Lucy. She never holds the ball for Charlie Brown :(!

Tip: Although many blogs online say Charlie Brown Cafe is in Hongdae, it has since closed. There are two in Seoul (directions for one below) the other near (Gimpo Airport – click for map). There’s also a very small one inside Incheon International Airport (near boarding gate 12 in the Duty Free Area after customs).

Dog Cafes in Seoul

Most people in Korea don’t live alone. So if you want a dog, you have to convince your parents who thought they were done cleaning poop after you were born. Couple that with the fact that most housing in Korea isn’t the most spacious for animals to run around and that all amounts to the birth of Dog Cafes. These fun cafes are where people go to just hang out with dogs both big and small. Most places require you to buy a drink, and if you want you also buy snacks for your canine friends, too (but if you don’t, you probably won’t get any attention :P). It’s a fun way to spend an evening by bribing cute dogs to be your friend for a few hours :).

Cat Cafes in Seoul

Korea totally gets it. Some people are dog people, and other people are cat people. For the same poop reasons some Korean people don’t want to bother raising dogs, cats are also another pet that’s wanted but can’t be had by many. And cat cafes fill the empty hole in people’s hearts. They pretty much have the same concept as dog cafes: buy a drink and hang out with cats for a few hours. Some like to be petted and enjoy the attention, but if you’re a cat person, you know that you might be just staring at some cats hanging out in some corner too. So head over to this cafe where there’s enough felines to make it worth your friendship:

Sheep Cafe in Hongdae, Seoul

Maybe you’re not a cat or dog person. It’s all good, yo! Korea’s got you covered with the royalty of petting zoos: sheep! Ok so maybe not all of Korea has this (fine, we were only able to find one), but we found this one cafe that has real live sheep. It’s not like they roam around the cafe where you can pet their super soft merino coats all night long. But it’s still crazy cool that this cafe has real live sheep hanging out in front for you to pet, feed, hang out with, and creepily think about how nice of a sweater their fur would make.

Racoons are curious, smart, clever and friendly, and racoon cafes in Seoul have become all the rage. Come to Blind Alley for a chance to interact with these cute bandits. Watch them roam around in their own homes, roll around the floors, and maybe even steal some food right out of your hands.
