Garosugil has become one of the hotbeds of Korean fashion in the past few years. It’s where many of the modeling agencies, fashion magazines and other fashion related businesses are based. So walk the streets and you’ll find off-duty models walking the streets and street fashion photographers that ask passerbyers for a quick snap.
Walk down the main street of Garosugil and you’ll find all the major international as well as Korean brands here. There are also select shops and even a few flagship stores to keep you busy shopping throughout the day. Garosugil is one of the streets in Seoul that all the major brands must have a presence if they want to be seen by the Korean market, and that’s why so many flagship stores are located here. And in contrast to the shopping streets in the university areas or the markets, the focus is not on bargain shopping, but rather on high-quality and cutting edge fashion.
Note: The shopping street noted in the map below is the main shopping street in Garosugil where you can find the major brands. But there are many boutique shops spread out from the main street that can be found a block or two off the main street.
