At the time of its unveiling, the Starium at CGV Yeongdeungpo was claimed to be the largest indoor screen in the world. Although it’s been eclipsed, the screen is a behemoth that’s an amazing theater experience for those looking for one of the best places to watch a movie in Seoul, especially for big blockbuster films. The theater is located at Times Square Mall, where you can eat plenty of good food and do some shopping after your movie’s over.
Tip: Theaters in Korea have assigned seating, and booking tickets ahead of time is recommended. For the best seats (in the middle of the theater), try to get rows H-K.
Ticket prices vary according to time and day:
Mon to Thu: 8,000 won (6AM – 10AM), 10,000 won (10AM – 4PM), 11,000 won (4PM – 12AM), 9,000 won (12AM – 6AM)
Fri to Sun: 8,000 won (6AM – 10AM), 12,000 won (10AM-12AM), 11,000 won (12AM – 6AM)
