About Fishing Cafes

Going fishing in Korea can be a whole ordeal. While there are places to go fishing in Seoul, you need fishing poles, a cooler, a net, bait and tons of other gear. And if you want to go out to the better areas, you’ll probably need a car. But in Korea, the land of entertainment convenience, you can just head over to a fishing cafe to catch a few fish and relax with your loved ones.

At fishing cafes, you’ll enter a room with a large tank in the middle of the room with surrounding chairs. Grab a seat and a fishing pole and try to catch as many fish as you can. While none of these fish are for consumption, you’ll still be rewarded for your efforts. You’ll be awarded points for the larger the fish you catch, and the more points you accumulate, the better the prize you win. You can even save your points to come back for another session to get even better prizes.

Of course, if you’re a fishing enthusiast, you’ll probably be disappointed by the indoor pond. So this is more for children and couples that want a unique experience and a fun day out.
