  1. For me, May through September would be the best times. 🙂 I live in Florida where it’s warm all the time. To me the 50-60°F weather is really cold! >.< Our hottest times in the summer months hit in the 100's°F, so the 70's°F is the nicest temperature for me. 🙂

  2. Mara says:

I was thinking of going in two years (so I can save enough money) I was hoping to go during my birthday but its in August. I think September or October will be better. Autumn is my favorite time of year. I’ll just be sure to check the calendar.

  3. Jhenmy says:

    I`ll go on october!!! =)

  4. Joe Snake says:

The best time to visit would be March through August when the temperature is just nice, not too cold and not too hot. Try to avoid Sep ~ Nov because of the typhoon season. Dec ~ Feb is too cold really.

  5. Shareen says:

Oh no! I have just bought my flight ticket.. Flying there during November.

  6. Roy Pacarat says:

I’ll go on last week of October to see the foliage changing its color.

which season is the best time to travel to Korea ? If travel to Korea in Jun or Jul is it in hot weather ? i need a refreshing weather not so cold.

    or

Season for Spring, Summer, Autumn & Winter, which is better season to visit to Korea.

  10. Jacquie says:

My boyfriend and I went in February and it was SO COLD. Apparently one of the coldest winters for a long time. One day was -19!! And if we ever stayed out really late, it was freezing too. Our apartment was located at the bottom of a huge hill and we kept slipping on the snow and ice 😛

REGARDLESS, still love love loved Korea and will be going back in October! <3 I read Seoulisitc on my lunchbreak to get excited and motivated to save and look forward to coming back!

I’m going to Seoul in March this year(yay!), however, I am unfamiliar with low temperature as I live in Singapore and its pretty much 29 degrees celsius all year round…. Exactly how cold is 5.7°C and how should I be dressing?

    • Hello,
You will need a good fleece (Polartec 200?) and a wind stopper! A pair of water resistant shoes would be nice! I live here now and apparently we are experiencing March temperature these days and this is what I wear everyday! A beanie and a pair of light gloves would also be usefull but are easy to find on the streets!

      • Jo says:

Hi, may i know if aug is good to travel. will the weather be too humid or too rainy in this particular month. need your advise. Thank you!

    • Afiza says:

What a coincidence! I’m from Singapore too, and planning to travel in March… wanted to go for SHINee’s concert in Seoul, but no news yet from the shopping service whether I got the ticket ㅠㅠ

Layering of your clothes should help…

    • Soephy says:

I will be in Seoul too from 17Mar – not my first time in Seoul though. I’ve always liked the cooler weather as it’s always sunny in Singapore. Layering of clothes plus leather gloves and boots would definitely help. And if you’re short of warm clothes, there’s definitely aplenty in Seoul — head down to the shopping streets like Myeongdong, you’ll definitely be spoilt for choice.

  12. Janet says:

I’m going to be in Seoul from the last week in June to the first week in July. Since it’s the beginning of the monsoon season, does it really rain that much? I was looking forward to the nightlife, do a lot people stay indoors during this time?

    • lulu says:

same here, will be going there for the last week of June to last week in July (a month) for a course. and i kept thinking about the same questions !!

    • Jovi says:

Been to Seoul in June last year.
      My advice – bring umbrella.
It will rain occasionally. I remembered out of all 8 days I am there, there are one or two days whereby it rained almost the entire day. So try to bring an umbrella otherwise you can buy one there.
Umm, there is def more people out there then compared to the cold seasons from my observations.

    • Keith says:

It will definitely be cold during that time and may even snow. I’d suggest bringing very warm winter jackets, sweaters, scarves and gloves. There are also heat packs sold in Korea that you can place in your pockets and shoes to keep your feet and hands warm
