Coffee Libre is now a famous cafe in Seoul that originally built its reputation in a small alleyway of the trendy Yeonnam-dong neighborhood. The interior is very intimate and kitschy with it’s traditional Korean pharmacy cabinet holding up bags of their roasts to show you the real medicine. And if you taste them, you’ll probably come grab a bag of beans yourself. Their coffee has unique flavors, some with hints of lemon and others with flowery aromas. That’s probably because of how seriously they take their coffee. They travel the world to find the best fair trade coffee and build actual relationships with the farmers and dealers. They’re always participating in taste tests in places like Central America to bring unique flavors to this corner of the globe. They love coffee so much that they hold public cuppings weekly every Tuesday at 8PM. If you’re a coffee snob, Coffee Libre does you good, and you’ll know why it’s considered one of the best cafes in Seoul.

Tip: To get their best coffee, ask for one they make with their Aeropress; it’s their specialty.

Tip2: They’ve branched out to Myeongdong, Yeongdeungpo Times Square, Express Bus Terminal Station as well as across the world in Guatemala. See their official website for more locations.
