Euljiro is one of Seoul’s older industrial neighborhoods. Here you’ll find factories and warehouses with old men and women that want to kick back a few bottles of soju after hours. Of course, these working class folks love an old school Korean-style tent bar (called pojangmacha), and lucky for them, they’re flush with them here at Euljiro. Here you’ll find a row of orange tents with plastic chairs lined up next to and across from each other. Feed your soul with some soju and bar food made by aunties. The highlight of the whole experience is being inside an actual tent seen in Korean movies and dramas, as these traditional Korean bars are slowly dying out.
