Lotte Department Store (Main) – Seoulistic

Lotte Department Store (Main)

In addition to street fashion, there's high-end shopping with unique Korean brands at several department stores in the area (Lotte, Shinsaegae, etc.).

Luxury Shopping

Myeongdong’s Lotte Department Store is the pinnacle of shopping in Korea. It carries all the high-end luxury fashion brands. You’ll find all the familiar names, such as Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Chanel and Prada. But don’t worry if you’re not looking for luxury shopping; they also host popup shops throughout the year to highlight newer designers.

One of the best things about shopping at Lotte Department Store is they have a duty-free shop on the top floor of the building where you can buy your sunglasses, perfumes and belts and pick them up at the airport completely tax free. You need an outbound ticket to take advantage of the duty-free shopping, so be sure to bring a passport and confirmation of your outbound e-ticket.

Another great thing about Lotte Department Store is the food court and grocery shop in the basement. The food court is one of the best in the country. Many of the restaurants and bakeries that make it big in other parts of the country are invited to be a part of the food court. The grocery store sees a lot of tourists, so they can package food so that they’re travel ready as well.

Tip: The Lotte Hotel, which is attached to the department store, is one of the best locations in the city. Click here to check rates on Agoda.
